Aaliyah Haughton was famous in 1994, when she dropped her debut album Age Ain't Nothing but a number. The album was Gold at the age of fifteen years old. R. Kelly was a significant influence in this project which put the singer into the spotlight. In 1996, she collaborated with Jermaine Dupri as well as Timbaland for her second album One In A Million which featured the hit number one single If Your Girl Only Knew. After the debut of the album Aaliyah gained international attention for her work as an R&B artist. She appeared alongside the legendary martial artist Jet Li in the 2000 romantic-action movie Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver spotted her in the awards ceremony. In 2002 she got to play the horror film Queen of the Damned which was an adaptation of Anne Rice's Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels saw her playing Zee and appeared as a character in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions that same year. In 1999, 2001 2002 and 2003, she was nominated to win four Grammy Awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is an Indian-American from the first generation of origin born in Connecticut. Mann is her stage name. Mann comes from her married name Mankad. Aarti Magnumdar is her formal name. However, she has also used Aarti Magumdar. While she started out in film and TV with a few minor performances, her acting career picked up speed in the late 2000s. Some of her other notable work include Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. She's appeared in many commercials including Volvo's international car manufacturer. She is currently working on her acting career at Los Angeles, where she lives with her son and husband.
